Stephanie has a special interest in helping churches and ministries. She worked for five years as the senior writer for Prestonwood Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. She also served as a ghost writer for a former president of the Southern Baptist Convention. Stephanie has written for numerous ministries while owning The Write Idea, including First Baptist Dallas, A. Larry Ross, and Cloud Ten Pictures.
Stephanie's love for ministry extends beyond writing. She served as the worship leader for Prestonwood's Children's Ministry for five years. During this time she also played Wendy, one of the main characters for KidZone (scroll down to the bottom of the link to see her character). She also wrote many of the scripts for the weekly live-action play.

Four-Color Publications Stephanie has extensive experience helping ministries create weekly publications and monthly magazines. The following examples are four-color publications that Stephanie coordinated and wrote. These also include samples of her work as a ghostwriter, where she wrote the columns for the Pastor and the Minister of Worship. (Please note: Some samples contain the entire bulletin while some only show pages with "ghost-written" columns.)
The last two items on the list are samples of a four-color magazine that Stephanie coordinated, from concept to completion, for Prestonwood Baptist Church. She also wrote all the articles in the publications.
Metro Bible Study In 2000-2001, Stephanie served as the volunteer coordinator for Metro, a singles Bible study in Dallas, Texas. While there, she helped coordinate a website designed specifically to minister to singles. Below are just a few selections from pages that were on this website.
